User Roles and Permissions

The administrator of the community will be able to create roles and give the roles permissions to different modules of the community.

The new users will be able to access the modules for which their roles have permissions.

You can create a new role by logging into your questionpro account and clicking on the organization tab.On the left navigation bar click on the Roles option.

• Create a role by clicking Add Role button on the organization page.


• On the add new role pop-up, enter the role name that you want to create, product should be auto selected to communities.


• On the add new role pop-up, apart from the permissions under the global settings, all other permissions will be auto-selected, you can deselect the permissions you do not want to give to the created role.







• After you've selected the required permissions, hit create role and the created role should be displyed on the roles screen


• After the role is created, click on the Users button on the left navigation bar.


• On the users page, hit the Add User button to create new users.


• On the add user pop-up, enter the email address of the user and select the created role from the role dropdown. You can also add the users in bulk by uploading the list of email address and corresponsing roles.
