Routledge Series on South Asian Culture


About the Series

The series addresses important questions related to South Asian culture including, but not limited to, the literary, religious and visual cultures of South Asia and the South Asian diaspora. Books included cover a variety of topics and a variety of approaches. Special attention will be given to issues of globalization, diaspora, nationalism, climate change, gender, marginality, othering and identity (religious, ethnic, cultural, sexual), and the growing interest in emotions in religion, culture, literature/film. The series considers monographs and edited books by established and new scholars in the field and welcomes new proposals.
