If you choose to participate in QuestionPro Communities research program, MyPinion (or other QuestionPro Communities Application) is software that will be downloaded and installed on your Internet-enabled mobile device. Our mobile application communicates via the Internet with QuestionPro servers or those of QuestionPro third-party hosting service. Please note that if you do not have an unlimited mobile data plan with your carrier, standard data transmission rates will apply. While QuestionPro may make routine software updates without informing you to keep MyPinion and all our applications working properly, the application will not materially expand or otherwise materially change the functionality of MyPinion and other applications or the information our application collects without your prior knowledge and consent. QuestionPro application will not ordinarily be visible to you during your web browsing but can be easily found in the list of installed applications. Our application (MyPinion and all Communities applications) may be uninstalled entirely like any other application on your mobile device. Uninstalling the application or disabling your Internet connection generally will stop the flow of data to us and may impact your eligibility for any Rewards Points. At the conclusion of the study, QuestionPro will cease tracking your data, and we will send you detailed instructions on how to uninstall application entirely.

We may use a third party supplier to verify your identity and contact information to ensure the quality of our panel for our clients. We also purchase data from third parties and add it to our existing user database to provide enriched analytical data for our clients’ use and to provide additional survey opportunities to you. This marketing data will be associated with your personally-identifiable information within QuestionPro systems.

Our Clients: In most cases, we collect, store and analyse information about you in accordance with the instructions of our Clients, who have a relationship with you (either as a customer, a participant in a market research programme being conducted by them, or as someone on their marketing lists). Therefore our Client will often receive a copy of your personal information so that they can conduct analysis on it, identify trends, and determine what types of products or services you – or people like you – might be interested in. When in their hands, the personal information about you will be treated in accordance with their privacy policy (which you can ask them for a copy of) and subject to the terms of any agreement you have with them or any consents you have given them.
Service Providers: We employ third party companies and individuals to help us manage and operate computer systems, and to manage and analyze the data obtained by us (including your personal information). Those third parties include, without limitation, companies who own and manage the servers and other hardware on which the personal information is stored, companies who help us to develop and maintain our services, and companies who provide analytical services in respect of personal information at our request or the request of our Client.
