Custom Data Mapping - CX
Custom data mapping allows you to capture external data from your website and save it along with each response, this data can be used to filter results or identify respondents. Custom variables is used to integrate tags familar to other data sets which is usefull to get appropriate output in various areas such as analytics,notifications and survey text.
How to setup custom data mapping?
To add data mapping for your Intercept go to Login » CX » Click on the Intercept you wish to setup custom data mapping
- Click on the Intercept >> Custom Data Mapping
- Click on +Add button on the right side.
- From the Custom variables column select the Custom variable from the drop down.
- Select the data type.
- HTML Element or a Static Value
- Enter the Value for the custom variable and click the Save button.
- To add more custom variables, click on 'Add more variables'. Adding up to 50 custom variables is allowed
