Afghan Hound Rescue
The Northern CA Afghan Hound Rescue (NCAHR) is an organization comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to the Afghan Hound breed. These volunteers receive no payment except the sense of accomplishment and personal satisfaction found in placing an orphaned Afghan Hound into a loving, caring, and permanent home.

A Happy Affie!

Julian getting ready for a costume contest....he's a horse!

Julian was adopted by Laureen and Mike. They contacted NCAHR during their search for an Afghan Hound puppy. We referred them to Angela Barrett. Astrid did the home visit, Mike and Laureen drove up in their Dogmobile (a conversion van). Here's a note from Julian's new parents:

Julian loves his new home and has a blast with Scout. He just fit right in like he grew up here! Hogs the bed! He is such a love bug- we are so lucky- he is fabulous. He went to the Fountains Mall yesterday and people stopped us and were in awe of his beauty.
